They're alright, but just like on-site classes, it depends on the instructor. Online classes are a bit harder for me. I don't really take notes, but I learn best by listening to the instructor and looking at whatever aid the instructor is using to teach. With an online class, you have to read the lecture. People don't realize that it still takes time to do the work. I know people who think it's a few minutes a day for the classes. I have taken 3 writing classes, and 2 computer classes online.
