I am looking into getting a Human Services Degree from the University of Phoenix. With the degree, I want to get into chemical dependency counseling. Any insight would be nice to know, on online schooling or a good university thats affordable.

I would be very careful with online universities, even if their website states that they are just as favorably looked upon as a regular university this is mostly not the case. If you want to make sure your online course will be just as recognized as the regular courses, then go through a well-known university and complete their courses.
BTW, University of Phoenix is not very popular on these question/Answer sites, most people will tell you to forget about them, and honestly I agree.
