Why do most employers laugh at online universities such as the University of Phoenix?
My brother said if you want to improve your life, then you better go to a four anni.Ha State University said that most employers make fun of online schools such as University of Phoenix.Non I had time ask why, so I’m asking here.

Because they are a joke!
Diploma mills that separate you from your money.
And you trust what this guy thinks? He’s partly right and mostly wrong. It depends on the degree.
Online Universities are a joke. Anbody can cheat their way though them so easily.
I learned Pluto was a planet at a four year university.
For several reasons.
1) Online schools are relatively new. They haven’t had time to build a good reputation. Plus, the internet in general has a poor reputation.
2) There are virtually no criteria to get into the school. You have to have a GED/high school diploma and your check has to clear. That’s it. More traditional universities require good grades, test scores, extracurricular activities, etc.
3) There’s something to be said about interacting with your professor and fellow students in person, as well as taking exams in class without the benefit of notes or books. These are all valuable experiences to prepare you for the real world.
